Using the MCP Integration with Claude Code
Tips & Tricks
Quick guide for anyone who wants Hostile Review scans directly in their IDE:
1. Go to Settings > API Keys and generate a key
2. Add the MCP server config to your Claude Code settings (see /mcp-setup for the exact JSON)
3. Now you can ask Claude: "Run a hostile review on my current file" or "Scan this PR for security issues"
The MCP integration sends your code to our agents and returns findings right in your editor. No browser needed, no copy-pasting.
Pro tip: combine it with the demo preset first to test the flow before committing credits on a full scan.
